We are a multiple award-winning wedding filmmaking crew based in Dallas, Texas. We are a team of dedicated artists and storytellers who are committed to creatively document your love story.

Our Mission

Everyone on our team has a creative passion to capture your once-in-a-lifetime event. This is one of the most important days in your life, and we guarantee that from the time we arrive, our team is focused on using every second to get all the highlights of your special day. You desire a beautiful and cinematic representation of your love, and we’re here to deliver.

Meet Hannah McGinty

I’ve been creative since the start of time. Like with the dinosaurs. I found myself diving deep into music and making silly videos with my brother and friends. Nothing would motivate me more to do homework if it meant I could somehow turn it into a fun video presentation.

As time flew by, I pursued a film degree at the University of North Texas. I graduated in May 2019 and then worked in Dallas at a production company for 2 years, winning two Silver Medallion Awards during my time there for moving storytelling and editing. On January 1, 2022, I transitioned into the full-time business owner of Hans Film & Photo, LLC, now doing wedding business as Modern Memoir Wedding Films. Hans Film & Photo continues to do non-profit work locally.

I got married to Joshua LEE, July 17th, 2021.

I’m overjoyed to belong to my new family. Our marriage covenant is for life together, and it feels so peaceful and redeeming.

I’m very involved in ministry in my hometown, Denton, TX. Nothing makes me more passionate in my work than witnessing how God’s love pours out in our personal love stories!

Now that I’ve finally experienced the wedding planning process myself, I understand how stressful it can be! We value the love every couple has and are overjoyed when they ask our team to join them on their wedding day. Our team is here for you every step of the way. Your media team is one of the most important decisions you have to make, and we want to make it as easy for you as possible for a stress-free and successful wedding day!

The Beginnings of Modern Memoir Wedding Films

The first wedding we ever directed was in the summer of 2019. Hannah was recommended by her friend, the best friend of the bride. From there, Hannah was booked as a second-shooter photographer and videographer for weddings, symphonies and business events. She worked hard in 2020 for her own equipment where she could officially launch her own business and hire her amazing team. During the 2020 hustle, Hannah earned the silver medallion award twice for her emotionally-moving cinematography and editing.

Vanessa & Saul’s Wedding

I 100% recommend Hannah as a wedding photographer! She was very generous with the price that she gave me and was flexible when I changed my wedding date 6 months earlier. She showed up early and stayed a bit late, was very professional and the pictures came out amazing! She helped us pose and come up with creative ideas. She created a sneak peak collage of pictures 1 day after the wedding and delivered the rest of the pictures 10 days later!

Hannah and her wonderful team did such a great job at our wedding! … My husband and I are so lucky to have had them shoot our engagement photo session last year, and our wedding a week ago. Hannah did such a fabulous job on our wedding photos! She was so kind and helpful throughout the whole day and leading up to the wedding day. Hannah was organized and came with a plan of various creative shots that my husband and I didn’t ever consider doing. Hannah also did a wonderful job editing our photos and got them back to us quickly! We could see Hannah’s passion for photography and her love for her work. We will definitely be using Hannah for more photoshoots in the future!
