It started with a friend-of-a-friend getting married in Deep Ellum, Texas. I said yes, mostly out of curiosity. That day changed everything.
Watching two people's love unfold in front of my lens made me fall in love with weddings.
The real, raw moments, the laughter, the tears, the joy that's impossible to script. (Plus, the filet mignon was exceptional!)
I realized that wedding filmmaking allowed me to tell stories in a way nothing else could. I officially started Modern Memoir in 2019, full of passion and vision to capture love stories that would last for generations.
